Spring Makeup Look: Glowy and Bright

Finally, almost at the end of March, I feel as if Spring is just about here. I’ve had my sunglasses on at least once, I’ve swapped my black jeans for some light blue cropped ones, and I’ve taken off my scarf. I’ve also had a bit of change in my makeup. I’m all about glowy skin and adding a bit of colour to freshen up my face.

This winter, which seemed to last about 5 years, has taken its toll on my skin and left it really dry. I’ve been piling on the moisturiser and swapped foundation to the Too Faced Born This Way. I love the combination of coverage and dewiness in this foundation, without being oily. I’ve also started using Mac Fix+ spray and spritz it over my face every morning after I’ve applied powder and bronzer. I think it helps my makeup settle into my skin leaving it smooth and glowy. Bronzer and highlighter have been my best friends for making my skin look healthy again!

Red toned eyeshadow is a big trend again this year so I’ve got out my Urban Decay Naked Heat palette to add some colour and warmth to my Spring Makeup. I really liked keeping it simple on my lids, blending out the shade Low Blow, but adding a pop of colour below my waterline. I sprayed a small brush with setting spray before dipping into the shade Dirty Talk for really intense colour. I added liquid liner for some definition but I would love to try this look without as it would look a little fresher and modern.

I’ve also been loving my new lipstick; Urban Decay Vice in Stark Naked. It’s a gorgeous warm nude which really compliments the Naked Heat palette.

Let me know how you’ve been transitioning into Spring!
